Camp is over and we are calling it a success! By my count, forty people contributed their time, talents, labor, muscles, expertise, equipment, food, artifacts, and help to make Passport to Fun Summer Camp a reality. (There were times, though, when it didn't seem real...more like magic.) The children were wonderful and seemed to have a ton of fun.

The adults got tired!

Thank you so much for all you did and for your loving hearts.

Summer Sunday Fundays: Each Sunday during the months of June and July we ask for volunteers to spend an hour with the children sharing either a skill or experience. Our many talented adults have a wealth of great things to share with our children such as making paper, teaching a folk dance, and exploring astronomy. Please help us by signing up to spend a Sunday sharing a joy or passion with our little ones. Contact Marjorie or Kate to arrange the best time for you to help.

Nursery volunteers (aka Baby Wranglers) needed: We have our RE teachers on board now, but we are still in need of a few good men or women to commit to one Sunday every 6 - 8 weeks (the more volunteers, the less frequently any one person will work) to play with our littlest UUs - those from 6 weeks up though four years of age. This is a "no-prep" job; just be there at 10:15 on your Sunday and monitor play. Let Mary Hitch know if you are willing and able to perform this very important job.

Forum Childcare will be provided only if arrangements are made by the Tuesday preceding the Forum. Please email ccuusnb@gmail.com to request a sitter for your child(ren). If, after arranging for childcare, you find that you cannot attend the Forum, please cancel your request at the same email address. We are happy to provide childcare, but we’d rather not hire a sitter if no children are going to show.
