February 5 — Darwin Revisited
Pete Goodwin helps us celebrate Charles Darwin’s February 12 birth anniversary with a closer look at this true scientist, and how his theory of evolution has had an impact on liberal religions of today.

February 12 — Standing on the Side of Love”
Jackie Russell says, “As Valentine's Day approaches, Unitarian Universalists take a different slant. What does it mean to stand on the side of love, to hold love as the highest value? A goal of the UUA campaign is to raise the voices and values of people of faith calling for compassion and love in the face of oppression and fear.”

February 26 — Marx in Soho, a play by Howard Zinn
Today we will vary our standard format to present a one person play, “Marx in Soho”. The play was written by Howard Zinn, a popular author in Ed Daner’s book presentations. The piece is performed by Robert Weick, a Barrymore Award nominee, who presents both Marx’s ideas and raises issues of social justice for his audiences.
